This was one of those sketches that I had on the iPad for about 2 years before I decided to paint it. We have one of those "Big Green Eggs", and they are fun to grill on! I can't say that I'm a master of it, but I'm trying to get better in all things grilling.
This was painted on a 12"x16" canvas board that I made here in the studio. I like that type of painting surface, because it gives you the texture/feel of canvas, with the sturdiness of a MDF board backing it.
